An entrepreneurial lawyer-teacher, Rebecca is embracing the changes and challenges that arise when you take the road less travelled. She has her own immigration and refugee law practice based in Toronto and simultaneously runs her company Grammatika International, a language boutique that designs Legal English and writing programs for international lawyers. She is accompanying her filmmaker-anthropologist fiancé as his work takes him to far-flung corners of India and she’s keeping up her own projects as she goes. Rebecca is happiest when she’s connecting people and helping others. She adores languages, Latin music, literature and learning (and alliteration, clearly!). Though born and raised in Toronto, Rebecca’s family has roots in South Africa and England (hence the curly mix) and she has lived on three different continents over the past decade.
