What is a dream?
For us, it’s the reason for being. It’s the blackened Caribbean sky kissed by stars. It’s homemade spaghetti swathed in tomatoes and basil. It’s long hours in service of a client to seek justice. It’s one woman’s palm in another’s raised above our heads, demanding change.
We believe that if she dreams… she curls, she craves, she flies, she slays, she reflects.
As women of color, lawyers, entrepreneurs, writers, and dreamers, we share a common vision: to expose and criticize stereotypes that limit racialized women; to celebrate natural curly hair; to tell true stories that inform, inspire and uplift; and to embrace the healing power of art in all its forms.
